LATEST ISSUE: MiFoot study results; roll out of Hybrid Closed Loop (HCL); and springtime themes

Spring in the air means a spring in your step – at least it does for me. I’m using that as my excuse to go a little spring-y in this issue, with a slightly off-message straying into the field (as it were) of sheep, wool…. and lamb stew.

Never fear, there’s plenty of news if the sheep thing isn’t working for you! The roll out of Hybrid Closed Loop (HCL) across the UK continues; United Through Diabetes launches its digital hub; there’s a Snaq app update; we find out what Dexcom’s acquisition of the Oura ring will lead to; MyLife Loop app is now on iOS; eye imaging is being used to assess kidney health.

There is also a news report on the good results from the MiFoot study. In another study, researchers still looking at the impact of ‘stigma’ on diabetes self-care would like to know your views (p.23). We also have Abbott’s video film about what life with diabetes is actually like.

Staying seasonal in this issue, in Making Carbs Count we look at the nutritional value of lambs meat, complete with stew recipe.

I hope you enjoy this issue and have a good Easter break in a few weeks’ time. To read the issue CLICK HERE.
