We have loads and loads of NEWS and an awful lot of it is about KIT. From p.4 read about such items as the first FDA-approved islet cell transplant; Screening urged for T1D; Tirzepetide’s heart benefit; 50% stop GLP1s within a year; Surge in youth diabetes; Revita’s excellent safety; From pod to Pantone; Implantable lifesaver? And more!
We have a CliniMed reader survey on p.17 about skincare. If you complete it (it’s not long) there is an opportunity to get a sample back. It’s all to do with putting on and taking off pumps, pods and CGMs and skin safety and care.
On p.18 in our story entitled Multiple Choice, we interview Dexcom’s new soon-to-be CEO, Jake Leach about the company’s current product range and upcoming innovations.
Then there is an additional Kit update and overview on p.20. This is less on existing products, but those in the pipeline – if they make it to market. Some interesting ideas…
From p.26 we have our Food section. There’s a couple of pages of new page items, then we have a look at a new recipe book in ‘a bit of a pickle’ on p.28. It includes a sample recipe. Then there’s a look at this year’s British Food Fortnight before our regular Making Carbs Count section, and this time it’s on foods high in nitrates, and why that’s a good thing, with a citrus beet salad recipe with avocado lime dressing. Enjoy!
