For the first time on one of his album covers (or indeed any album cover), Nick Jonas – the Golden Globe and Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, actor, producer, and philanthropist, wears his Type 1 diabetes on his sleeve… well, his arm. His new solo album, Sunday Best, features a cover picture where he can be seen wearing his Dexcom continuous glucose monitor (CGM). This is being claimed to mark a huge step forward in normalising diabetes and raising awareness of the condition by this pop idol. Well done him for pushing the boundaries.
