Lynette, a long haul air stewardess, talks about how the Accu-Chek Aviva Expert bolus advisor has helped her improve control by taking away the guesswork, and reducing the worry of hypos.
Lynette balances life as a long haul air stewardess with that of running a family with her husband Andre and her two children Molly and Max. She says, “I can be more active and do what I want to do without worrying about a hypo”.
She continues, “There’s a number of things that affect my blood sugar levels within my job – the time changes and the temperature changes in the different destinations I go to. So my blood sugar is very vulnerable. Since I’ve had the Expert it’s taken all these fluctuations in my blood sugar readings away because it takes into account everything that’s going on, and then tells me exactly how much insulin to have. It helps an awful lot with my job. My sugar levels are so much more controlled since I’ve had the Expert.’’
