The national Children and Young People’s Mental Health (CYPMH) Team at NHS England and Improvement are recruiting four national lived experience partners to work in a new role with the team to improve NHS funded CYPMH mental health services.
The CYPMH team are responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving improvements for the Community CYPMH pathway. Successful applicants will have a key role in shaping national CYPMH policy, championing engagement and representing a lived experience voice in meetings and events.
CYPMH are specifically looking for:
- 2 young people aged 18-25 who experienced mental health problems as a child and/or young person
- 2 parents or carers whose children experienced poor mental health before they turned 18
These roles require approximately four hours a week for 6 – 12 months, and as ‘Role 4’ positions they attract involvement fees of £75 for 4 hours, plus expenses.
The deadline for applications is Sunday 17 July and interviews will be held on 9, 10 and 11 August.
