Parents and caregivers of children with diabetes can now follow their child’s glucose and insulin data via the mylife CamAPS FX app on their own personal smartphone.
The new ‘Companion remote monitoring’ feature is fully integrated into the app, giving parents and caregivers a view of all their child’s therapy data at any time via their smartphone – regardless of whether the child is at school, enjoying his or her hobbies or meeting friends – and especially at night. Besides a display of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) data, the app also provides insulin delivery data, Boost & Ease-Off usage, pump information and other relevant mylife CamAPS FX information.
The mylife YpsoPump (pictured) and mylife CamAPS FX is the only automated insulin delivery (AID) system that can be connected either to the Dexcom G6 sensor from Dexcom or to the FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor from Abbott. The latter has been compatible with mylife Loop in Germany since December 2022 and this compatibility will be rolled out in Switzerland, UK and the Netherlands in the first half of 2023. The mylife Loop offer is currently available for Android; iOS will follow.
