Moby, medical detection dog Moby, sponsored by Accu-Chek Mobile
DSNs were asked to give a name to the puppy being trained up as a Medical Detection Dog for someone with diabetes. The result of the vote was that the dog has been name Moby, inspired by Accu-Chek Mobile. Names were suggested by departments at Roche Diabetes Care and were voted for by various HCPs and DSNs around the country. Over the next 18 months, Roche is sponsoring the puppy to be trained before it is carefully matched to a new patient partner.
