Diabeloop and EOFlow have announced that are partnering to offer the latter’s EOPatch system with automated insulin delivery in Europe.
The partnership combines the EOPatch, a third-party continuous glucose monitor (CGM), and Diabeloop’s automated insulin delivery algorithm – with both integrating into Diabeloop’s currently under-development smartphone app.
All three components of the planned automated insulin delivery system have already received CE mark in Europe, with Diabeloop earmarking a commercial launch for the end of 2023.
